Neil Painter

Neil graduated from the University of Natal Pietermaritzburg with a BA LLB and was admitted as both an Attorney and Conveyancer in 1985. Prior to commencing his articles at Stowell & Co, he was an Examiner at the Deeds Registry in Pietermaritzburg. He became a partner of Stowell & Co in 1989. Neil was very active in tennis and cricket in Pietermaritzburg and served on the Pietermaritzburg and Natal Cricket Associations during the transformation era and in the 1990’s and was also an elected member of the Pietermaritzburg Legal Circle for ten consecutive years.
