Deborah Khan

Deborah heads Debt Recoveries Division alongside John Dale. In March 1998 Deborah completed her Articles of Clerkship and was admitted as an Attorney. She joined Stowell and Co. as a Professional Assistant and was appointed as a Director in 2003. Deborah specialises in the Collection of debt for Corporate entities as well as schools and sits as an Executive member of the Pietermaritzburg Legal Circle where she liaises with Magistrate’s regularly at management meetings in an endeavour to streamline Court processes and examine current legislation and its applicability.

Over the past 20 years she has been involved in many broader aspects of law pertaining to the recovery of outstanding debt. She prides herself in ensuring that a personal relationship is maintained with her clients in an effort to deliver the best possible service.

Deborah regularly attends various Debt Recovery Conferences in order to be kept updated on the fast-changing laws pertaining to Debt Recovery. She was appointed as the Chairlady of the Board of the St. Johns’ Diocesan School of Girls and has a passion for nurturing and empowering young women.

In her spare time Deborah enjoys spending time with the family, reading and swimming.
