Rodney Trotter

Rodney runs a commercial and local property practice and succeeded Brian Kurz as Chairman until 2020. Rodney has practised as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public for over 40 years and has been integrally involved in the development and registration of a number of Pietermaritzburg’s most prominent Commercial Developments and Sectional Title schemes. He was President of the Pietermaritzburg Legal Circle in 1980, and of the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Commerce in 1984.

He was a Steward at the Pietermaritzburg Turf Club, and the Chairman of the Regional Board of the Jockey Club of South Africa (as it then was). He currently serves as a Director on the National Board of the National Horseracing Authority.
